I feel so privileged to have worked with the team at E&S for the newly branded Surfer Bar at Turtle Bay Resort. It was an amazing week working with E&S art director Todd Chapman, I love his easy going nature. It wasn’t too bad getting to work in Hawaii for the week either. Thanks to the incredible staff at Turtle Bay Resort, everything from a paddle boarding pit bull to the now vacant set of ‘Lost”, was at the ready during our shoot.

We recently completed an extensive shoot at the Boleo Copper Mine in Mexico. Our client was incredibly organized and gave us unprecedented freedom in shooting this expansive project over 1 week. The outcome was an incredible collection of imagery that showcased the scale and details of their site as well as the personality of the workers, foremen and administrators. This shoot was a real adventure; one that I am so grateful to have been a part of.

It’s not hard to say yes to a gig where you dive with Mantas, Sharks and Dolphins for 6 days. I was commissioned by the diving live-aboard ‘Nautilus Explorer’ to shoot this amazing trip for them in Mexico’s Socorro Islands. The focus was to show what a day in the life aboard this luxury vessel looked like ….. as well as showing off Socorro’s underwater assets. We had an amazing group of 25 guests from around the world and an incredibly attentive crew who made every day flow seamlessly. Can’t wait to return some day ….

Shooting the Calgary Stampede and Southern Alberta over this past summer for the Canadian Tourism Commission was a dream job! Our crew and cast were an amazingly talented group of genuine people all working to create incredible moments. We somehow managed to squeeze in a wee bit ‘o’ fun as well while living in the moment during this epic trip.

Noel Hendrickson began his photographic journey off the Great Barrier Reef, sixty feet under water. He couldn’t stop smiling as he peered through the viewfinder. The sea provided an altered perspective of form, color and light unlike anything he had witnessed on land. When he surfaced, his world had transformed, everything seemed fresh. From that point forward Noel focused on the subtleties of ordinary subjects that were previously unnoticed. Spying on the world above and on the creatures beneath will always make Noel giddy, whether he is hanging out of a helicopter, crawling through the muck or weightless under water. His clients are drawn to the artful nature in which he captures the essence of his subjects.
